Hometown? I make my home in Spring Valley, population just over 2,700. What a great place to raise a daughter and to be a part of the community!

Where else have you lived? All over, really…Dallas, Fort Worth, Honolulu, San Francisco, Denver, Colorado Springs, Phoenix, The Outer Banks of North Carolina, and several places in the midwest – all over Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. People always ask which was my favorite...hmmmm

If you won the powerball, what would you splurge on? If I had a sudden and unexpected pile of cash, my daughter would certainly have the finest education possible, and I'd see as much of the world as I could. You would probably find me living aboard a nice sailboat, anchored near a remote beach in Fiji!

One day, I will own an alpine white Les Paul Custom - that's my "someday when I'm rich" purchase...and there's an old, beat up plane out there somewhere with my name on it - (N704WC, where are you, old friend?)

What do you do in your spare time? Spare time? Wow…wish I had that! IMy daughter Samantha and I spend a ton of time together, and any chance I get to leave the car parked and take the bike, you know I'll ride! Guitar playing is very important to me as well, and I spend a lot of time doing that. My most recent guitar project has been teaching myself to play traditional blues slide guitar.

Have you ever met a famous person? Um…maybe a couple. My favorite has always been meeting Alice Cooper, who may have been one of the most inspiring and genuine humans I’ve ever met. Leonard Nimoy was also kind and warm - loved meeting Ozzy...wish that I'd gotten the chance when he was still all there.

What’s the most amazing concert you’ve ever seen? That would be really hard to pin down - I have been to so many! The Rolling Stones in Dallas in '87 was amazing, Alice Cooper in San Francisco in '90 was too!

What’s the worst job you ever had? Dish-monkey at a Denny’s is pretty high up on that list. My job was 11pm to 7am, washing all of the normal stuff from the tables, and all of the dishes that got changed out in the kitchen overnignt. On the "Cool Job" side of things? In the early 80's, I lived and worked on this...

All-time favorite food? It’s a three way tie: a medium rare porterhouse, a perfectly prepared rack of ribs, and homemade lasagna with wa-a-a-ay too much cheese.

What is currently in your CD player? "Holy Smoke" from Gin Wigmore, "Four The Record" - Miranda Lambert, and ZZ Top's "La Futura"

If you weren’t in radio, what would you do for a living? Hmmm...good question. Perhaps a mystery woman will buy an expensive plane, and hire me to be her personal pilot, and I can hop from exotic location to exotic location, letting the sun fade my levi's - jeans and boots, and plenty of sunsets - sign me up!

What’s the most recent book that you’ve read? You'd be surprised how much time I spend with "The Big Book", and I am currently in the middle of a Joseph Wambaugh book - and I have a huge, HUGE pile of books that I have on my "must read" list!
